Today we celebrate Dominic who has tetralogy of fallot (TOF) with pulmonary atresia and subglottic stenosis. Dominic was born in September, 2015 and though just a little small, he was a “normal” baby. At his two month check-up, his pediatrician found there was something wrong with his heart/blood flow through his body and immediately called for transport to Cleveland Clinic Children’s, main campus. He was immediately put into the PICU and had his first heart surgery that night. During his first year of life, he had many complications and other health issues that meant multiple lengthy hospital stays, two major heart surgeries and several dilations of his airway.

Through all of this, he is the happiest, sweetest little boy with a smile that can brighten a whole room! He loves Mickey Mouse and Paw Patrol, loves building with blocks and cruising around in his bat mobile. He is becoming very curious and trying to communicate a lot more! He is the true sunshine of his parents’ lives!

The stories they dont publish but could 100 times a day Troopers stopped a XXXXXX with out of state plates for a marked lane violation. Troopers saw the vehicle pass and decided to pull it over for any reason to search it. After following profiled driver for 7 miles decided to claim.they saw a tire touch the white line Troopers then claimed to smell raw marijuana providing an illegal legal justification to conduct a search of vehicle After detaining the driver for over an hour, found nothing and let driver go with a warning. Thereby bypassing laws and policies to capture driver race and prevent racial profiling and abuse of the 4th and 14th amendments This is done at least a hundred times a day with not a single illegal drug found For those of you who think DUI checkpoints are unconstitutional, they are nothing compared to the OSHP drug fishing stops

Gonna come on here before the potheads see it. Good Job OSHP, you make our state proud

I have never had any vehicle searched by anyone, and I've been pulled over ALOT. Probably because I have nothing to hide lol

I wish Ohio lawmakers would stop putting our troopers in danger making them enforce ridiculous laws. Stay safe brothers.

Why?????... , Legalize already... taxable revenue... And maybe police will be able to spend more time handling real problems...

Great work cleaning up the drugs in the streets

I love reading about these busts and then enjoy all the burnout comments. OSHP is, and always will be, the elite law enforcement entity Ohio has to offer. Keep up the great work Troopers!

I feel soooo much safer now. While they were distracted by this sucker vehicle the real load drove merrily by sitting on a million or more. They were played like a violin.

Thank you for saving society from the horrors of a plant created by God.

Its a plant. Get rid of the thisal and leave the grass alone

Let the naysayers comments begin.....

Oh golly gee! Thank you so much for getting this medicinal, non-lethal, natural, God provided plant off the streets. I can finally sleep at night.

We have Troopers that we can be very proud of. Great job Troopers. 👍

How many people could have ODed! thanks,, thieves

Great work OSP I'm glad you all continue these arrest up. I certainly applaud each and everyone of you. Stay safe and strong.

More ILLEGAL WEED off our streets. Way to go OSHP!!

Another great job done by the OSHP Keep up the good work and be safe thank you

Great job O.S.P. Letting the whinning begin..ha

NO VICTIM NO CRIME. Would like to see these respectable officers use more discretion since the East hasn’t caught up with the times.✌🏻&❤️

Sad that taxpayer dollars funded this armed robbery

Look. It doesn't matter what state it is legal in or if marijuana should be illegal or not. I For one, think it should be legal. But they pulled the guy over, he had weed in the car, and by default he committed a crime. They HAVE to arrest him. And if it does become legal, you likely won't be allowed to be carrying or transporting that amount of weed anyway. This guy would have been arrested in any state in the U.S.

Great Job OSHP! Keep taking the dopers dope, cars, money and freedom.

Another great job by our Troopers!

WTG OSHP - Keep up the great work and be safe out there!!

another good job by the force of the " Flying Tire "

Thanks to Lisa Nash Heavener for sharing this story!

"This is not to brag on myself but a sweet Trooper. Out to lunch at Applebee’s in Athens today with Braxton and a Trooper parked next to us. Braxton thanked him for “keeping us safe” we were seated and placed our order when 2 Troopers walked in and were seated in another section. I told our waitress we wanted to pay for their meal. This Trooper walked over and thanked Braxton for having his back and asked him if he liked ice cream. Braxton told him yes and he said “don’t go anywhere”. He came back with an ice cream Sunday. Made his day❤️ Thank you to ALL Law Enforcement officers who keep us safe “we have your back”"

But he should be out catching teh hairoenz, not eating lunch! Cops don't need any foods! /watch, it'll happen. Good on mom for teaching her son the right way, good on the little guy for being genuine, and good on our OSHP officers for fostering those relationships!

Ohio TROOPERS are the best ! Great story !

So precious!!! My daughter and I were at a Tim Horton's one time and a local officer in that town paid for our order. He was inside and saw us in the drive thru and just paid our total. It was a decent amount. I tried to catch him to thank him but he was gone. So my daughter and I paid it forward later in the month and sent his department pizza and wings. They work hard every day to do their jobs and protect us and see things we cannot even imagine. They also have to work against those few who make all of them bad in the media. They work a very thankless job most days. Support your law enforcement!

Well done troop...that little guy will remember that act of kindness for a long long time...

Such a good example of great parenting and yes....our Ohio State Troopers are the best 💙💙💙💙

Gotta love those Troopers ! Thank you for your service and stay safe.
