Students in Florida have walked out of class to protest gun violence.

I can't believe some of these comments. These kids have every right to protest. They have voices that deserve to be heard. I would support my kids 100% if they took part in this. Shame on those of you that are so heartless.

There's a time and a place ~ the middle of class is neither. And how about instead of protesting guns, they protest irresponsible parenting? They've been through a horrible, HORRIBLE tragedy, but this is not the answer.

And I hope you all know that David Hogg was not a student at that High School he was a paid crisis actor he graduated from a high school in California

The problem is not the guns! It’s the people who are pulling the trigger!

Listen to the stories of the survivors in Parkland. They are NOT doing this just to miss class. Listen to their STORIES, not what the NRA and Fox news tells you.

smh This accomplishes nothing. It two weeks it will be forgotten and the liberals will have to think of something new to divid our country.

You people putting down these kids for standing for something they believe strongly about are the problem smh

So let’s walk out into a open area And give someone a better target with nothing to protect us Incase someone wants to open fire again

Put armed officers in all schools and arm the teachers. Now go back to class and get an education. Nothing will be done by you standing outside making demands.

They are trying to stand up so this will never again happen. It’s not all about politics it’s about standing up for their rights to feel safe at school!

Of course conservatives don't like it. Your crazy shooter caused it. You crazy pres ignored it your bought and paid for politicians don't want to address it and we are sick of it

Mean while people are actually dying by the thousands on roads, i hospitals and leaving bars and vape joints - no one cares to protest....

They should spend this time reading the constitution and learning how laws are created. Or even better, put the phones down & talk to each other & maybe make a friend of “the weird kid”

Bane the assualt weapon with high capacity magaziens and National backround chek system security concern National .

Why would you suspend them??? They just watched their classmates die in front of them and walked over their bodies to run for freedom!!! They have a voice! Good for them

Why suspend? This is more important than what our so called government walks out on or thinks they can stop because of their whiny a&& selves

Walk out of school to protest the FBI dropping the ball. They and the local PD were warned and were well aware of how dangerous this guy was.

These are kids, who have just witnessed something so tragic most of us cannot comprehend. Let them deal with it however they need to!

And school officials just let them? I mean what happens if there were to be another shooter just waiting for this to happen. They all would be targets now. 😢

Congratulations you all failed this semester now you get to repeat the same grade next year maybe then you'll learn something.

where are the parents and how many schools were bused in all activities paid for by the Democrats and Goerge Clooney

I would be protesting the government that was repeatedly warned about the shooter and ignored that information. If they had listened to the citizens this would not have happened.

How about working to secure your school !!! And get back to learning the facts of this situation. Poor excuse to skip school 😡

You people who are criticizing these students need to shut the hell up! You certainly don't have the temerity and fortitude that they have!

Ohio Division of Wildlife

Starting to gather receipts and deductions to file your taxes before the deadline in April? Consider supporting your love of nature this tax season! You can do so by donating a portion of your state income tax refund to support Ohio’s state nature preserves and wildlife.

The ODNR Division of Wildlife does not receive taxpayer dollars. Nearly all wildlife conservation in Ohio is funded by people who hunt, fish, and trap. The tax donation program is an important way that all wildlife enthusiasts can help restore and manage endangered and threatened wildlife and other species of special interest.

By making a tax donation to the “Wildlife Diversity Fund” while filing your taxes, you will be benefiting wildlife around the state. You can also give a donation to support Ohio State Nature Preserves to support new trails, educational signage, and land conservation.

How about making it so people could donate to a fund only used to buy more land for public hunting. Access is the biggest problem. More public land would be a win win.

Would have been a consideration if people like Scott hale wasn't screwed over....

Be nice if the money stayed with the DOW.

American ginseng hunters are being reminded that uncertified root may not be possessed after March 31 without a weight receipt. Anyone planning to keep uncertified ginseng beyond the deadline must schedule an appointment to get it weighed and documented: ow.ly/EYDR30irJ42

In Ohio, the harvest season for ginseng runs from Sept. 1 to Dec. 31 each year. All harvested ginseng must be certified by the ODNR Division of Wildlife prior to export from the state to verify its weight and legal origin. Federal law requires that all state lots of ginseng be separated and totaled by the year. Because of this necessity, all uncertified ginseng must be weighed and accounted for each year.

Can you grow and harvest your own?

Please come down hard on trespassing idiots!!! Go buy your own land or get permission!!! I f***ing can't stand trespassers wish we could hunt them!!!!!!

Uh, is it wise to show such a nice picture of the plant ? Everyone is NOT honest and everyone does not follow the rules ( we call them poachers ) . Now more folks than ever will be able to ID the plant .

John I., visited Finland last year. They have a law called Every Man's Rights. Lets anyone go anywhere and harvest natural resources, even on someone else's private property! So, like everything else in life, there is something in the middle that makes sense.

Looks like poison something.

Should allow us to harvest on public land. Around my area, it is all being plowed over to look for oil. We should be able to get it before it's all destroyed. Let us buy a ginseng licence or something.

Money, money, money. Gotta tax em to death. Money, money, money. It is a product of Mother Nature not the government.

Why does the government have to have it's hands in everything that grows naturally on ones private property. Screw the ODNR !!

Free country if you do every thing they want who's the nuts that let them be the boss

Ohio is backwards in their respect of the land.

Ginseng and Virginia Creeper look so much alike

I ask WNF about this and they didn't know what was talking about. 😂

Go burn a Marihuanna field, jackboot!

WTF

Anyone that hunts public land primarily for deer needs to read the new proposed rule change! Its ridiculous and all hinters need to voice their opinion on it to odnr!

I think if you want to have input you need this. If you want change we all need to have a voice. I think thay need to stop nonresident. Hunting. And put antler limet on buck's.

Does anyone really think they will listen to us Hunter's who know more about the population and things going on?

I follow different states DNR pages and have never seen such negative post. Almost everything posted is negative. Ridiculous.

It's too early to start trapping for bobcats. Let's get a better idea about population numbers. We are just starting to see them return in our area.

I hope they lower the price of out of state hunters so we get even more people from surrounding states during shotgun season!!!!

They should evaluate each wildlife area separately. Take my area paint creek wildlife area. It should be limited to buck only for a couple years.

I don't suppose we can get a season to hunt politicians? Just with bows? Or rocks, even? I'll bet you could charge a lot of $$$ for permits and sell millions of them.

ODNR hears complaints not enough deer on public, so they offer up a change to help and people complain - SMh

About time they restrict the limit. Ain't a deer left on the public land by my house. I refuse to hunt it because I have better things to do than sit in empty woods. I'm all for lowering the public land limit

How about no bucks for a couple years and only 2 does. Tired of seeing all these guys shooting 1-2 year old bucks, then say you cant eat horns, while a mature doe was standing right next to it. Let them grow. A little deer management could go a long way. But no one understands that.

Make muzzleloader season longer

Make non residents shoot a doe before they can receive a buck tag. Non residents o my come to shoot a buck and then they take them back to their state and check them in. Then back over for another one.

I’m all for lowering the limit of deer you can harvest but seems weird to target public land hunters. I only hunt bucks typically but know people who hunt anything and this rule will make it tough for them. Early and mid October is tough hunting on public without a good front, and late October through all of November is super crowded

Its awesome that the Division thinks it's ok to punish public land hunters while it's ok to allow everyone else unrestricted season lengths. To tell a public land hunter his season is potentially over December 2nd while his private land counterpart continues to hunt is a total corruption of the North American Model of Conservation.

Bounty on coyote

You guys that sq hunt with dogs, here's your chance to have a little input.

Looks like a chance for extra revenue allowed the bobcat to make the list.

If you restrict public lands guess my family is out-!!!!!

I support the public land regulations, however I'd like to see the data collected that the decision was based on. I think a statewide adjustment needs to happen, and fast. Especially with the introduction of straight walled rifles. I'm all for a straight wall season only. 2-3 day season. Open muzzle loader up for weekend hunts coinciding with breeding numbers, certain zones with higher breeding population have extended muzzy season.

Dumb
